Default What's difference btw TE37s and LE37s?

I'm trying to decide between the two. One site I read stated the LEs weigh less than 17 lbs/each, but it didn't state was size wheel that was. Another site stated the LE is no longer made.

Anyone have reliable information about the difference between these two Volk wheels? Or can someone point me to a thread that's already discussed it?

Many thanks...

I thought LE just had a polished lip... otherwise the same rim.

Hmmm... the pics I've seen online are small profiles, aside from the numerous TE pictures I've seen of other members. Does anyone have LE pictures posted?

ares: do you know if the LEs are actually lighter at all or they're both the same weight (height and width being equal)?

Same wheel but the LE is with a gunmetal painted face with machined lip. The LE might be a tad heavier cause of the thicker paint.

Rishie

It will have the same contours as a TE in the same size and offset.

Thanks for the additional info, Rishie. I'm not as big a fan of gunmetal for LeMans, so your post definitely helps in my decision making.
