im getting my work wheels powdercoated, im wondering if i can remove the center piece while they are still mounted to the tires. they are the old 2 piece VXs. does anybody know if i can take them apart with the lip piece still mounted and with the tires inflated or do i need to get them unmounted first?

 

if they are 2 piece, you are fine, if they are nonwelded 3 piece, then you must deflate the tires first. I would deflate them anyways to be safe

 

i think they are just 2 piece, they are the old school original first edition work vxs, i dont mind deflating them, but id rather not get them unmounted then remounted.
