The reason for the "small wheels" is that I was trying for an un-modified look (ie stock size wheel) just trying to refine the car to my taste (996 fanMan).the wheels are 4 lbs lighter than the stock, so with bigger tyres, I get the same brake load at each wheel.

if i was forced to run a 17" rim, i'd probably go 9.5 all the way around.. 275 as well

the front offset is "ok" but the rear seems kinda high imo.
