Default 10.5 wheels

Does anyone know in so cal where you can get your wheels widened? Or if it is even possible to do to LMGT4's because the 9.5 is just a tad to small on the track.

I need them like soon, so I don't want to wait for wheels again. Plus I already have the wheels.

Like I posted to you in your "for trade" thread.

You might want to also look into the Axis Reverb's in the 18x9.5" and the 18x10.5" for the track.

Here is the link to them........... http://www.axiswheels.com/wheels/reverb/reverb.html

I don't think they make them with offsets that are even close to right.

also, I don't think you'd want to chop up a fully forged wheel... I don't know how the pieces would work together...

People have widened OEM track wheels (forged) without issues.

-Also the Nismo 10.5s come in good offsets - just takes awhile to get them. I do believe that they are on backorder in Japan right now

I would think a forged wheel would be better to weld.

have any idea about how much it'd cost to get it widened? was thinking about doing it to the 07 OEM forged wheels on the rears 19s to a 10.5 width.

I wouldn't do this. I'm sure that widening your wheel will compromise the structural integrity of the wheel and if you're using this wheel for the track, you may run into serious issues if something goes wrong with the wheel. Why not just get a RE/CE/TE in a 10.5? All 3 of those wheels have the same forging process as the LMGT4, the RE is the strongest and lightest wheel out of that line up. I already have my 18 inch RE's on order, this will be my dedicated track wheel.
