On rainy days, my car literally skate across the freeway
Please spend 50-70 more dollars per tire and pick up some Michellin Pilot PS2 or Goodyear Eagle GS D3
+1 i have nittos because it came with the rims i bought. i acutually dont like em at all. they are noisey and doesnt hold dry and espically wet. Ive never experienced the PS2s or the Goodyears but ive drove on the BFG G-Force and those are a lot better than the nittos. Dont get nittos.

Well Stopped by a place here where I live today. Got a quote for these

1. Goodyear Eagle GS D3

Price installed not over $1100.00.

Looks like a good deal.

They're both winners! You won't regret no matter which one you choose

ya, im going to have to agreee with gsazabi on this one for sure... ive got my nittos that came with my 18"Nismo wheels and the traction is just not at all what it should be. especially on a launch... suck *** in the quarter. and i slip a little more than i think i shoulc in the canyons hitting turns so i think you should be happy with your shoice... thats my little rant. lol

My tires struggle to grip even at 70-75 degrees weather! My 1st and 2nd gear is very slow cuz of it
When the temperature hits 90+ degrees it finally starts to grip well
VERY noticable difference in acceleration and grip when I drive in the morning/night compared to HOT afternoon...so WACKED!

I have been buying 555's since 98-99, and have never had any problem with them. A great daily tire. If you are having problems in the rain slow down. Any sport tire can get scarey in heavy rain, you drive a sports car, just pay attention and be careful.

I wonder how fast people are driving when they say the tires are no good in the rain?

I've never had an issue with these tires. I like these tires in both dry and wet conditions. In addition, I have not experienced any loss of traction issues from these tires being cold that I would consider out of the ordinary.

I guess pretty darn fast. I know that my set up is good over 80mph in the rain.

Perhaps I lucked out on my set! In any event, good luck with you new wheels!
