I would run 35 profile tires if I were in your shoes.

265/35/18 front 275/35/18 rear

But most of the tuner Z's, like the Amuse Z run 265/35/18 all around.

Hmm... aren't the stock 18's 18x8 front and rear? They stagger them 20mm. A 9.5" wheel is the perfect size for a 265 or 275, so why woulnd't you want to stagger them? Running the same size all around IMO is a worse option, since you mess up the height stagger and increase your rear wheel gap by quite a bit. It also can mess up the VDC if you have it.

if you want to stagger, you should have different wheels to begin with. And no, factory the wheels are staggered. Running the same size all around is absolutely, totally a good thing. Makes the car more neutral.

Wrong, the factory 03-05 18's are ALL 18x8, and guess which sizes they run on them? 225/45/18 and 245/45/18. Running the same is all around is not totally a good thing, that is totally dependant on your particular setup. What about the case when your car already is setup for oversteer on staggered tires, and then you add equal width tires all around? Then it will oversteer too much. Everything is not black and white

but the problem of 265/35/18 all around is throw off rear circumference by appox. 4 inch which is alot.. IMO

The circumference of the P245/45 x 18 original tire is 83.8210 inches

The circumference of the P265/35 x 18 aftermarket tire is 79.4921 inches

He did. It can mess up VDC (if you have it) and unless you are slammed you will have more wheel gap, especially in the rear if you run a undersized diameter. It can also get you into a oversteer situation if you are not careful. I run same size tires all around on the track but see no advantage for street use other than being able to rotate tires.

If you want same size all around, I'd try to split the difference between the stock front and rear diameter, like a 265/40. I still think a 255/40 and 275/40 combo is the way to go, but it's your choice.

i'm running 18x10 +19 plus 5mm spacers which means i'm actually running 18x10 +14 offset with 265/35 all-around with vdc and it doesn't throw it off.

Good for you, when did I say it wouldn't work? I said it MAY throw off VDC, why do you think there is a sticky at the top of the page regarding this very topic? 03-05 tourings are ALL 18x8, go look into it. Just because yours are staggered doesn't mean that they all are. It still doesn't address the issue with the wheel gap in the rear
