Running the same size all around IMO is a worse option, since you mess up the height stagger and increase your rear wheel gap by quite a bit. It also can mess up the VDC if you have it.
if you want to stagger, you should have different wheels to begin with. And no, factory the wheels are staggered. Running the same size all around is absolutely, totally a good thing. Makes the car more neutral.

The circumference of the P245/45 x 18 original tire is 83.8210 inches
The circumference of the P265/35 x 18 aftermarket tire is 79.4921 inches

If you want same size all around, I'd try to split the difference between the stock front and rear diameter, like a 265/40. I still think a 255/40 and 275/40 combo is the way to go, but it's your choice.

Running the same is all around is not totally a good thing, that is totally dependant on your particular setup. What about the case when your car already is setup for oversteer on staggered tires, and then you add equal width tires all around? Then it will oversteer too much. Everything is not black and white
ya... been running a square set up for a year thanks. works great. and these are the stock sizes for my 350
18x8 with a 30mm offset - Front
18x8.5 with a 33mm offset - Rear
