Be sure to check the weights of tires. Kumho's are pretty heavy. Pirelli's are light!

Sounds like your main priority is dry grip - the "other" brands mentioned above will likely be better in the dry than either the AVS Sport or the PZero Nero.

That said, from the Tirerack reviews, the Advan and the Nero rate very similarly. The Advan Sport has been out for several years now and has been eclipsed in performance by the AD07. The Neros are a newer design but I haven't heard too much feedback about them as they're not usually tracked/autoxed.

If you want lots of dry grip and are willing to sacrifice wear (and you want to stick with Michelin, Pirelli, and Yoko), you can always go with their track tires - the Pilot Sport Cup, PZero Corsa, and the A048.

Thanks guys... Went with the Advan Sports. Michelins and other Advans aren't avaible in a 255/35, 285/35 combo set. The PS2 in a 255/35 should be out next summer.

How much did you pay and where did you buy? I'm going with Advan Next time around. Although the T1-r's were very nice to me.

$1568, shipped w/ warranties from Tire Rack. Arrived in two days. Now to get them mounted. I really wanted the PS2 but like mentioned weren't in the sizes I wanted.

That is pretty steep for tires. I look at them as disposable items and I don't see myself spending more than 1200 @ max. Especially, if they don't have the sizes I'm looking for. I hope they give you good performance for what you are intending them for. Gives us a good review.
