Angry UPDATED:Axis Cracked Rims

UPDATE:
Ok guys took some pics with my cell they are crappy I know and these aren't all the cracks. I will have the regular digi cam in a hour or two.
I called axis and talked to a very nice guy named Steve. He said it is from a bad batch from one company they were using. Now they aren't using that company any more and he is sending me a brand new rim. No questions asked. I'm so thankful of this i have enough stress as it is thanks for the Support GUYS! appreciate it. and if you have any trouble talk to Steve!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So many things are hitting me at once right now. I just got out of the ER for a allergic reaction to meds. And I take my car up to Nissan to get a oil change and for some odd reason something told me in my head to look at my wheels. My left front 8.5 hiro is cracked So bad nissan didn't want me to drive it 3 miles away. I'm a college student and this is my only transportation. So I call up Axis and talk to a guy named mark about it and he says to take pictures of the crack (btw there is one large crack from almost the lip to the back of the rim and two cracks on two sep. spokes. SO hopefully Axis will send me a new rim soon. I'm waiting on a digi-cam from a friend. He is supposed to be here at 6:00 as soon as I get pic's I will update this thread and update you on the situation with axis.

It really looks so bad that it could crack completely into and I could have died if I didn't catch it. I'm really upset at this point. It is like everything is going bad all at once...

Sorry to hear your recent troubles..
I believe that Axis has great customer support so your wheel should be taken care of.

Who says that? theyre dead wrong. jsut a quick search will return many cracked hiros. But the good part is, axis replaced them for free.

Forged and cast wheels are completely different. Maybe forged wheels have cracked (anything can be broken) but they are definitely stronger (aka can take more of a beating) than cast wheels. As most of you know, the way they are made is completely different. To put forged wheels in the same category as cast wheels is just...

lol, you make it sound like i have no knowledge of cast and forged wheels. as you can see i own volk gt-7's which have forged barrels with cast spokes. i never put the two in the same category, i simply stated that wheels can crack no matter who makes them. you seem like one of those all high and mighty, "i own volks so im better then you" types. please take your attitude somewhere else.
