Default SS, Nismo S-Tune, and USS Abe Lincoln

Well I finally had a day off where the sun was shining and the car was clean. It took a little driving to find the spot, but I set out this morning to get a pic with the flat-top in the background and suceeded in finding several locations. This was the best location I thought. Anyway, enjoy and God bless America.

Nice car, nice wheels, nice backdrop! BTW, I think your car would look great with clear side markers.

Thanks for the comments. I agree about the clear markers. I'll have to get some of those.

Here's one more, but Abe is way in the background and straight above the rear wheels. Great weather today!

Default 99% sure

Looking good! Are you still loving that NISMO S suspension? Any more feedback? It would be helpful! I am 99% sure i want it, waiting for it to be released here in USA. Do you have anything that will push me the last 1% or is their some negatives your have experienced?

Thanks, Jeff

The S-Tune suspension rocks. The only negative is a slight loss of gas mileage, but I suspect that having the alignment done by the dealer would help here. Of course there appears to be alot of question about correct alignment values... I've got around 3000 miles on the S03's with no sign of feathering or uneven wear so far. And of course, no bounce.

I'm very happy with it.

Hmm, that is a little weird, loss in MPG! It seems that if it was out of alignment enough to drop MPG, it would be wearing those tires out really quick.

I think part of it is the amount of rubber I need to get moving from a stop now. The S03's are rated a 280 vs the 140 (I think) of the stock RE040's. When I'm on the highway I average pretty good (26+), but it the city it's pretty low as I indicated...

ksj......Great pictures... both main subject and background.

Glad to hear you are liking the S-tune as much as I am ...
It is sweet...particularly on the twisties !

That is really strange about your gas mileage... I have not noticed any changes -- and it seems to be getting better as I put more miles on... currently around 2,600 miles.

I love driving this car...just got back from a 200 mile trip to have dinner with my wife and her parents, brother, and sister-in-law on Mother's Day. My wife went down early to spend the day.. and I met them later on. Great driving day... cloudy and in the low 70's.

Beautiful pics, ksj. I agree with you and thackattk about clear sidemarkers adding a real nice touch to the front, but it's beautiful as is. And it's rare to see the Nismo wheels... beautiful.
