Default rear wheel ticking

Good morning,
My car is grand touring 2004

I recently I have heard the ticking sound from the rear wheels only when I shifting the gear to D position and the car in stationary.

I have heard that the sound may be from the coupling (the connection part between the shaft and the differential)

Your help please the sound low these day I will not wait tell it become a serious problem.
Thanks

I think this is the famous "axle tick". Try searching for it and you'll come up with something.

if it's the axle clicking, it should be covered under your 60,000 miles power train warranty.
