Well that car has come a long way. I haven't seen it since October at the Pavillions. It looks better every time.

to those asking where to get these wheels at a good price...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2415357852

check that link.... the same guy that sold me mine has more.

NOTE* the pic he uses in the ebay ad is Silver but the wheels are Hyperblack like mine... a slightly darker silver/chrome look.

$1005 for all 4

... just had a thought regarding weight........ the UPS label on the box said 42lb. There were 2 wheels in each box. Add the weight of the boxes and that puts my wheels around 20lb. each.

hmmmm maybe not as heavy as I thought.

Anyone know what Falken 245/35 and 285/35's weigh alone?

that is probably just what they paid for a "42 lb rate" and UPS didn't check them, the superlight TE37s are about that wt. and iirc, the stock 18" rays are 18lbs.

btw, I like the color, a normal silver in that wheel wouldn't look as good, nice job

Is that really the correct weight? If so thats great!

Arent 19 TE-37s 22 pounds though? My track rays are 18 so it seems unlikely to me that your cast wheels are only 2 pounds heavier!

I hate to be a naysayer, but I want to find out whats up. The question I want to know is... "can one get quality lightweight 19s for under $500 a rim?"

Your wheels look awesome congrats! Peace

His ad is incorrect. On the box the wheels come in it says +35mm offset.

do they come in 18's?
They do.... they have 18x8.5 and 18x9.5

Those wheels look very good, especially for the price. They look great on the CS Z that has the Veilside rear spoiler and the M-Sport wheels (it's in a somewhat recent post). The mesh looks kinda like a gun metal finish (especially since the picture is dark), with polished lips.

The close-up of your wheels has a gun metal look as well, but a bit lighter. They should look great on SS.

Congrats!

thanks VQ!

i like how the gallery is set up... small thumbnail, then larger version, and then if wanted, the high res.

excellent!

On another note....

the ADR centercap has to go!

It's 2.8" diameter. Guess what else is 2.8"?

The side "Z" badge!

I just ordered 4 from courtesy. They will be overnighted and should be on the wheels by Friday night. Will post pics then.

I just conducted an experiment..... put some spacers on my wheels to see just how far out you can go with an Eibach drop and 245/35 & 285/35 without rubbing the fenders.

I was successful in putting a 25mm spacer in the front and 7mm in the rear...

so effectively my wheels become 19x8.5 +10mm & 19x9.5 +28mm.

They fit fine with not even a hint of rubbing issues.

It goes to show you that you can run some pretty low offsets with big rubber.

That's too dangerous to put 25mm spacer in front especially if you didn't change the stud.

not dangerous... I have a spacers that have thier own studs....

besides... 25mm is 1" you wouldn't even be able to put nuts on if you didn't use longer studs.

also.... I don't plan on running these... just an experiement to see just how low an offset can be run without rubbing.
