It looks like I am getting a set of track rims for my 03 touring. My question is what do you guys think would be a good tire combo front/rear for a set of track rims. I know the fronts are 8.0 and the backs are 8.5, what combo would work the best to maintain the superior handling of the car. thanks guys as always

 

 

what about 245's all around

 

Im pretty sure you can go with a 245/265 combo.

 

I am just not sure about a 265 on that rim, thats why I had hoped more people had something besides factory tire specs on their car, I want something bigger than a 245 on the rear but not sure, just wanted to see some people tire combos on these rims and what they thought

 

It depends upon the tire and the maufacturer's specifications. Most manufacturers allow 255 on an 8.5" rim, but not 265.
