Default Will 245/45-18 tires fit 18x9 wheel

Well I'm looking for a new set of wheels since my stockers are pretty beat up.
I just recently bought new tires in stock sizes.
While searching for rims I've ran into quite a few sizing issues.
I can't find many good deals on 18x8+18x8.5 wheels. They usually have only one of the sizes but not the other.

My question is if I just get a 18x9 wheel for the rear, can I still use the 245/45-18 tire for the rear?

For a 9.0 inch wheel, I recommend a 255 or 265 mm tire.

The thing is, I just bought new tires in stock sizes. Would I be able to fit 245/45-18 on the 18x9 wheel with no problems?

Be patient. Someone will tell you that it will fit.

What you just said gave me a bad feeling...

Are you saying I'll have issues?

Try the stickies on the top of our forum threads, they work pretty good.

This says yes, they will fit.
