Tire feathering what causes it???
I noticed in another thread on Eibach Pro springs that they had a problem with tire feathering (an uneven wear pattern on the tire) and it included a picture. I have been noticing that the tires are making LOTS of noise lately. Well, when I looked, both of my front tires are feathering on the inside edge!!
Moving the tires from one side to the other as a fix from one dealer on the thread is not a fix, but postponing the inevitable and unacceptable.
My questions are.... How many people are having this problem? What causes it? What if anything has been done to fix it? Are new tires the cure?
I think the dealer should fix the problem, but I need info so I don't get snowed by technobabble.
Thanks for any info you guys/gals can give!
