Default MAIDO 20" GR5s and Pirelli P-Zero Rosso

Got my car back yesterday with the following:

Front Tires: Pirelli P-Zero Rosso 255/35/ZR 20
Front Wheels: Maido III GR5 9" 3 piece rim. (.26 offset)
Rear Tires: Pirelli P-Zero Rosso 285/30/ZR 20
Rear Wheels: Maido III GR5 10.5" 3 piece rim. (.29 offset)

Car was lowered with Eibach Pro Kit. Handling is excellent, after getting used to it. I was not a fan of dubs (had 17s before), but am happy with the outcome. I know, I know, brakes need to be replaced!

That looks very very nice. Not as sporty as the gt-c's but still sporty and definitely classy.

Well I can't really say how much they cost me..., but here are prices I found on a search:

Front Tires (Pirelli P-Zero Rosso): $487 (each)
Rear Tires (Pirelli P-Zero Rosso ): $524 (each)
Front Rims (Maido GR5 20"): $918 (each)
Rear Rims (Maido GR5 20"): $978 (each)

As far as the comparison to the Volk GTCs, I agree that they look a lot like them. I prefer that the rivets continue around the rim in a uniform pattern unlike the GTCs which are "interupted" a little bit. The big difference is I don't believe that the GTCs come in a 20" wheel, which normally doesn't appeal to the majority of the people anyway, IMO.

As far as the ride, I had a chance to drive the car quite a bit yesterday and can't get over the handling of it. As far as potholes I cringe at the thought of ever hitting one...

Thanks for the compliments!

Is it just me or does everyone on this board "get a deal" on their rims and they can't talk about it? Am I the only one who doesn't have some rim/tire hookup, or are there a bunch of resellers BSing people telling them "Look man, I'm gonna hook you up, because I like you..." and people are believing these lines?

I guess it's who you know and who they know and who they know, etc. All I wanted was some new speakers in the doors...

The wheels did not add any noticeable weight and it actually feels a little faster. I seriously wish I could let everyone drive this car with this setup so you could compare it. The difference in performance and handling is nothing short of incredible. This is from a person that shook his head in disbelief when Victor (Vics350) told me he was opting for new tires and rims versus upgrading his stereo, due to the results of this poll.

As far as the "looks" of the wheels, yesterday five complete strangers (including one in a Porsche, one in a Corvette and a ~16 year old girl selling ice cream ) went out of their way to tell me how great the wheels looked (well OK, the ice cream girl mentioned it was her "dream car" and then she mentioned that the wheels were "hot"). I had forgotten what it was like to have people "notice" the car.

I would venture to say that those have gotta weigh more than 30lbs per wheel.
