KYEXTAZ,
Hey man I sent you a PM as well. Basically I did try the splitter w/o the diffuser on the front and it just had to much of an upward angle, even with the rods adjusted all the way down. I put the diffuser back on to help push the splitter down, which helped but really I just don't think its designed for the stock bumper even though APR advertises it that way. Ahhhh screw it, i'm just gonna go with a c/f lip........ .

Looks like I am going to have to replace the rears fairly soon here but still have good tread up front. Do you think there will be any issues with 285 Bridgestones in the rear and the stock 245's up front?

if im not mistaken, someone here by the name of usanif or something has the setup for 255 front and 285 rear without any issue or anything. he even sent me some pix of the car with that setup...its very close to the rear fender but it does not rub at all...and it does not require specific alignment to fit the tires without rubbing. so ur good to go!!!

that's f'n stupid if anyone would pay near that for these wheels. Maybe like $800-1000 for a NEW NEVER used set.

Thanks, I believe I have seen that as well - guess I'm still wondering if there will be any issues with the stock 245s up front and the new 285s in the rear. Dont want to buy a 255 front until the 245s are worn.

Thanks for the information - that makes more sense now. I never really understood keeping the "stock stagger" - so the VDC is concerned with the actual difference in rolling diameter between the front and back wheels?

I just ordered Goodyear F1 GS-D3's at 255/40/18 and 275/35/19 to replace my stockers. With these sizes I will maintain close to a 0.6 inch difference (taller in back) - same as OE specs.

You can check all the tire dimensions for different set ups at tirerack.com
My VDC seems to be kicking on more with my new 285/30/19 Re050A's...tire rack says its 26" even in diameter while the stock 265/35/19 is 26.3....doing the math its really close to that 3% rule....dont know if its just the tire still being broken in or if the lower diameter is setting off the VDC on its own Also the balance is a little different but it may be squirm....I ran the originals to about 28K and other than over powering them sometimes, they responded well till the day I took them off....

These 285's at full depth with the VDC kicking in and car's balance being more pronounced...not what I had planned on....perhaps as time goes on the tires will feel better??
