Default 'Clear Bra' material to protect wheels?

anyone know if its possible or ok to apply the 3m 'clear bra' meterial to some volk gt-s' to protect from rocks, nicks, chips..?

i dont see why not, but was wondering if anyone had done this?

probably not as it would get grime in the corners, ect.

Yes its possible but you will have two problems.

Heat from the front brakes.
Cleaning brake dust from the front wheels.
