To those with fat wheels & tires
I have ordered iForged RS Aeros 18X9 F and 18X10 R and plan to get Toyo Proxes 245/35 F & 285/35 R.
When getting wider wheels like these, should I make any adjustments to the rear camber or other alignment changes because the wheels & tires are wider? On earlier perusing of related threads, I haven't noticed that anyone sees adjustments as necessary..or they haven't mentioned it...or I missed it.
Thanx

I would recommend and alignment- You should only need to have your camber adjusted if you lower the car. Also, I'm not sure about 10" width- you may need to roll your fenders (especially with 285's). I'm sure someone here who is running 10" wide can comment on whether you need to roll the fenders or not.
As far as I know, fender rolling will not be required for 285s. I'm not planning on lowering. So, let's see if we get a concensus on not needing anything beyong a new alignment. Thanks, I appreciate it.
depends on offset..... width don't mean sh*t without an offset number.
18x10 with 285's would be fine with about a +31mm (give or take a few mm) will fit just fine.
I have 9.5 in rear with 285/35/19 +28mm... 1.2" drop no rubbing at all.

Check out my tires sizes, i got 295/35-18 on rear with 10", not even close to rubbing, no rolled fender. Heck, i think i could have gone bigger than that. Just enjoy those 285's!
