Default Lmgt4 OR Work Emotions CR Kai?

Just want some opinions on the pricing of LMGT4s

would 1200 be a good price for a set of bronze 18x8.5/9.5 with 2 used tires about 80% tread left? One in front and one in rear?

I really wanted work emotions but I think if its an okay price, it would do.

Let me know thanks

Or should I go with the Work Emotions Cr Kai 18x9.5 + 20 all around???

I have a silverstone Z btw soon to throw on the ings n-spec kit.

Would it be any problem getting a new pair of tires because the ones that are already on are used?

Would it create balancing problems?

If the wheels are in good shape, and want bronze, go for it. Throw the old tires away, and get a new set. If you get the Nismo recommended sizes and they are balanced properly, you will have no issues. They are 245/40/18 in front and 275/40/18 in back. I have Nismo LMGT4 in silver (have had them for more than 3 years now) and I still luv 'em. Oh, I have Dunlop SP SportMax on them. IMO, a great tire.

What do you mean by a pair of tires? You have four wheels!

Well the guy that Im getting it from said that someone trashed his passenger side tires by punching a hole through the sidewalls. So the drivers side tires are okay with 80% left but the other side is gone. So If i were to buy new tires, would it be okay driving like on different amount of tread on either side?

Actually No! Remember we're talking performance tires on a performance car. The design of performance tires differs from one brand and model to another. Tire manufacturers are all trying to get to the same place, but they arrive there with different tread designs which lead to different slip angles and etc. Also, as tires wear, their handling characteristics change. Even with regular tires, it's not a good idea to mix brands, but when you do, it is always recommended to change two tires at a time (on the same axle). If you decide to ignore this recommendation, at least get matching brand and model as what is now on the wheels.

SO3s are good, but may be hard to find, since they haven't been made for over a year now. They've been superseded. As far as new on one side, and worn on the other, see my comments above.
