Default My new Work Emotions

Well, I finally got them on.

Work Emotion XT7 18x9.5 +20 MGS all around
Falken FK452 245/40 front, 275/40 rear
Black tuner lugs
OEM TPMS sensors installed, need to get them programmed

Got the rims from Adam at Z1, Adam was a huge help in my decision making process and answered all of my (probably dumb) questions. A great price and fast shipping rounded out the deal perfectly. Thanks Adam!

I KNOW I NEED A DROP.......I'M WORKING ON THAT NEXT.

UPDATED: new pics!!!

Looks good, but I was wondering why it looked as if you were riding so high (until I saw the profile you choose on your tire and the fact that you aren't dropped).

Yeah, if i was dropped already i would have gone 35 profiles, but since i'm on stock suspension right now the 35 would have looked completely stupid. So for now I went with the 40 series until I drop.

The front tire is actually a little more stretched than i would have liked, but again, these tires will do for now. Once I'm dropped an inch or so I will be able to get a better fitment on tires. I'm thinking 255/35 and 285/35.

thanks again for the order, and enjoy

let us know when you're ready to lower it

Given the roads in our area, I think you made the right choice on the 40 series...and with some slight lowering, it will look terrific

40 series looks great if you're lowered on 18s. I have them. When time came ot buy new tires, i stuck with the 40 series cause it fills up the tire gap perfect. Im running 265/35/18, 275/40/18. I may go with 285/35/18 in the rear next time.

Thanks guys. At first I was a little hesitant thinking the lighter silver colored wheel might not look right on the silverstone, but once they were on all doubt was washed away, I think the color is great. I had seen pics of another member (we be z) with these on his chrome silver and they look fantastic. I think the MGS is a shade in between the chrome silver and silverstone colors. AND I think the lighter color makes these 18's look a little bigger than they are....or at least they look bigger than the MB Weapons I had on their previously.

Thanks Cory, as I told you, your pics were my inspiration to get the XT7's over several other wheels I was considering. I was hoping they looked as good on a SS as they did on your CS. I think they look pretty sweet on both colors.

The Falkens are head-and-shoulders above the Toyo Proxes4 I had on my other wheels. I feel a lot more confident taking turns now . I think they may have a softer sidewall or something because they don't ride as rough either, and they're quieter.

I did in fact get to take some better pics in the sunlight just now on the 5th level of the parking deck at work. Unfortunately I will have to wait to get home tonight to post them because I don't have a card reader here at work and I forgot to bring my usb cable for my camera.
