Default Dealership forking over new tires?

So my car is is about 3 and half months old and i have 1mm of tread left on the rears and 6 left on the front. Its an auto so no hard launching lol, at first i couldnt even break them loose, but i guess when the car got broken in the power got unleashed. All i know is now if i floor it they break loose easily...so i went to the dealership and talked to the manager, he told me he would call me when the factory rep came by.

Tomorrow im suppose to swing by, i guess ill have to take a long lunch while at work. Anyway i went for an oil change today at the dealer, it was free. Got almost 8k on the clock now. So my buddy who worked at a dealer looked at the paper they gave me and laughed. He pointed out that it states ALL of my tires are 7/32 or higher of tread lol. And it specifically states on 2 pages that all of the tires are in good shape, and on the paper it says all of the labor and observations are guarenteed for 12 months.... it also states i dont need to come back until november lol, so yea my tires should be absolutely fine until then haha..... tomorrow when i walk in im just going to hand them the paper and be like are you sure about this? Friend told me they do NOTHING but change the filter and oil and possibly add some washer fluid.

Sucha shame they lie. 29 point inspection my ***, friend said they dont do any of it, thats why it takes 15 or 20 mins to do. Lotta highway miles and tires are shot lol, i powerwashed the wheel wells to make sure i got any rubber that i might have had in there.... Ill let yas know tomorrow, what happened. They should give me a set just for lieing to me.

Just for laughs i stopped by parts, yep nismo exhaust 1200, oem spiler 400 plus paint.... and intakes 520..... jesus, are they nuts? haha mynismoshop ftw.....

They will not give you new tires. It is a wear and tear item and you cannot prove to them you werent abusing them.

If it was abnormal wear you'd have a legit complaint.

The Nissan free tire policy is long over.

Tire tread and rain safety is a important subject. Once a tire reaches are certain point, rain safety deteriorates rapidly. A state inspection may give a tire the OK, but there are plenty of OK tires that I would not drive on.

Im assuming they put those same Bridgestone RE040's on the 07 that they put on my 06. Mind were bald at like 11K miles. I hated those tires. Not much grip for such terrible tire wear.

Well i made a big deal, and made the manager look like an *** in front of the corporate guy. In the half hour.... i made a good case, rep was like looks like youve been drivin aggresivly theres some rubber on your splash guard which is bs, i made sure to clean it all twice and used a 1500psi powerwasher..... he was referring to my scraped up mudguards, tires dont have scratches on them... so not burnout and its an auto! lol....

Long story short, im going to bridgestone store tomorrow to see.... manager winded up telling me he would give me anything he had that had more tread and also said he would pay to prorate new set of rears.... I had some fun i wont lie but 8k in 3 months is a lot of highways....... thats insane to need new ones... and i beleive theyre the re50's which are rated pretty good on tirerack.

Tomorrow i go and was told to call the manager to see what well do.

NOT TRUE.
I have gotten 2 sets and have not paid for them. I have $0.00 on the receipts to prove it, not to mention there were 20 other Z owners there when i got the 2nd set. The tires also came with an alignment.

Still not true, The policy still stands. They will cover any issue on non-neglect for 12 month after time of purchase. I have had 2 sets. The first was a set of Yok's that should have never been on the car. I went to a highly recommended dealer and they resolved it again. But keep in mind. If you burn the hell out of the rears then you will only get the fronts done, again from experience.

So STS checked them out, they were MUCH more helpful in working with me and showing me stuff. Got my car up on the lift and checked them out, measured them. So after 4 techs looked at my tires and the manager and a factory rep at nissan.... they seemed to miss something crucial. My camber is off because the inside of my rear drivers side tire is bald. They all seemed to miss that but one guy at sts spotted it in a second.

Anyway they called bridgestone, they wont prorate them, and wont warranty them, the manager at nissan wasnt there so i have to go back thursday and speak to him. Im going to sit down with him in an office and be very serious. I bought the car 3 months ago with a bad alignment. Regardless of how low the rears are, theyre worn improperly. So theyre not slapping a brand new tire on the rear and leaving the other at 4/32 of an inch. They told me they come with 10 or 11/32 of an inch on them, and the fronts are around 8, so i guess theyre normal. Rears are barely 4/32 at the middle though.

Lots of evidence of abuse huh? Look at all the rubber peices in the wheel well that arent really there.... and the tons of scratch marks from burnouts and donuts and drifting, which takes miles and miles to get rid of since you need to wear off a good layer to get rid of them.... sigh

I'll keep ya posted.

Just curious if you guys have an suggestions. Guy at sts told me i shouldnt need my alignment checked for at least 12k or 12 months. With that kind of wear, i suspect my alignments been off since day one. My dealership is just horrible. I saw them painting a car outside the garage last week. Out in the open, masked off car and were doing the bumper... out in the open.... oh theres no dust in the air or anything... You walk in and wait 10 minutes for one of the guys to speak to you... horrible service.

I just cant beleive all those people looked at my tires and said theyre wearing EVENLY. It annoys the **** out of me. Thats not even just on the inside, its worn as you go left to right.
