check for tire feathering, my 03 had that issue...
since u have aftermarket tires and not stock potenzas the previous owner might have just put the same tire size tires all around, check ur tire sizes

okay ill answer the question even though it is in the wrong sub forum.

check your tires. If they are staggered (meaning the front is a different size from the rear) then they cannot be rotated front to back.

All tires can be rotated from left to right, however, IF they are directional tires, it is NOT easy. You will have to break down the beads (take the tires off the rims, rotate the tires, and remount them on the rims the opposite direction). Otherwise the directional tread pattern would be rotating in the wrong direction.

For instance, I have 285/40/18's in the rear, 245/35/18 in the front. I have G-Force T/A KDW's that have a directional tread. Since my i have staggered tire sizes, and a directional tread pattern, I have to take my tires off the rims, and rotate them that way every time i rotate my tires. Not simple, usually costs like 50 bucks at discount tire. It's a pain in the ***, but its worth it instead of destroying tires prematurely.

An easy way to tell if your tires are directional is to look at the sidewall. If there is a an arrow that says rotation next to it and pointing in the direction of rotation then they are directional tires. the sidewall is also a good place to look for tire sizes. if the backs have different sizes then the fronts, then no forward/backward rotation.

hope that helps.

damn! i'm glad spmoebody finally answered that one!

question though matrix, the aspect ratio on your tires looking at the post above looks like they're wrong. is that really what you're running for tire sizes?
the 35 should be in the back and the 40 should be up front. the width is fine though. i run the same sizes as you do just the opposite aspect ratio.

“Funny” does not translate. The tires are either wearing evenly or unevenly. Photos are helpful.
