Just got my new wheels. Will i be fine or will they rub? (Pics)
K i just got my new wheels. Motegi Togue 18x9 fronts with 25mm offset, and 18x10 rears with 30mm offset. I placed them on the car without the tires so i could see how flush they are. They are extremely flush and I'm worried about rubbing my fenders in the front when i go over bumps. I was going to run 245/40/18 (which is 0.14in smaller in diameter than stock) in the front and 275/40/18 in the rear. Does anyone have this setup on their lowered z? If so what size tires are you running? I'll be picking up tires in a day or two.

Here are a couple of pics with the stock wheels and tires so you can get an idea of what the wheel gap looks like now. With the new wheels and tires being 0.14in smaller in diameter for the fronts. I would think i should be fine. But going over bumps worries me a little.

Im pretty sure your fronts will be fine. I run 275/35 tires on 18x9.5 in the front with 20mm offset, lowered a little more than an inch, and I get no rubbing. (these are my track wheels, so even under severe cornering and braking, I have never had this setup rub).

First of all you are looking at an uncompressed suspension compared to your stock wheels on a compressed suspension. They will not be that flush once you put tires on them and put them on the car. You will not have any rubbing problems.

Personally, I don't care what you paid for the wheels. But I like to see fellow Z owners pick good/quality wheels, whatever the budget. Enkei for example are very affordable and have great reputations as a quality wheel. Havent heard of the wheels you picked, but hopefully you wont have any issues. Wheels are one thing I would rather rock STOCK until I had enough $$$$ for a set I really wanted.

18x10 et 30 will be fine with 275 rears and even 285 rears. it will be far from flush. you could prbably run 10mm spacers to make it look flush and run 275's without having to roll your fenders
