Default New Volk wheels for 2008? Who has insight?

With Sema coming in just a few days, the new volk offerings have to be known by some. So lets have a sneak preview.

I've seen all the photos for the wheels that are being debuted this year. The main attractions will be the new GT30 in a 20 inch which is the GT version of the RE30. There will also be a new Gram Light wheel called R57GT which is also a 20 inch wheels but is a fully forged monoblock wheel. RAYS is focusing more on 20 inch wheels this year as the OEM benchmark for vehicles is rising every year and the need for bigger wheels is becoming a standard. RAYS will also be debuting 2 new wheels to the GT family at Tokyo Auto Salon this January and they will be called GTT. and GTI. Gram Lights will also be getting a subsidiary line called 57Motorsport next year.

+22 will be the closest to what you're looking for.

I was advised that the ONLY offset offered for the CE28N in an 18x10.5" was +18?

19's seem to be the norm now. No offense, they look fine on the G, but I do not like them on the Z. big wagon wheels!

I wouldn't risk it. Why do you want a higher offset?

because +18 will rub. Heck, I was rubbing with +23.

+28 on a 10.5" is perfect.

+18 will not rub depending on tire size, camber, and what your drop is. You can always roll your fenders too. I'm running a 10.5 +15 on mine with no rubbing issues.

Rolling my fenders is NOT an option. I like my paint to stay where it is, and do not want to roll the weld point for the rear quarter panel.

I am not about to be forced into running a certain size tire AND run excessive camber, which will wear that tire out faster and take away from a full contact path of that tire. All of that so I can run an extra 1 cm more of an aggressive offset.

On my car, with the tire I want to run and the camber I want to run... and without rolling my fenders ; a 10.5" rear that is around a +28 offset is perfect.

^ sorry that sounded like a rant

No worries. +18 and +28 is a 10mm difference. Unfortunately, if you're looking for that conservative of a fitment in a 18x10.5 CE28 than I'd consider other options.

10mm = 1cm

and when did a +28 on a 10.5" wide wheel become conservative? I would call it neutral.

a +35 or higher would be conservative IMHO

On your 10.5" with +15 offset..
What tire are your running?
Are your fenders rolled?
How much camber are you running?

I'd doubt there is enough hub to even do that - not many wheels can shave 10mm off, most have a practical limit of 3-5mm

I'm running a 18x10.5 +15 on a 265/35/18 Bridgestone RE-01R. My camber in the rear I believe is at -1. My fenders are cut.
