Go with 5zigen's....they are neither volks or work but they're much better than TSW, Rota, and Axis

With the lip they look good. Lots of people run TSW Thruxtons on their car, most of them have no quality problem with it. But it is heavy, but if you're not racing your car, don't worry about it. If you are racing your car, go with some 18" forged wheels.

Nothing against replicas or cheap rims, but we brought at least a 25k car, why cheapen out on parts?

My take is, I would never put something that is inferior than what is already on the car.

I hear so many horror stories about cheap cast wheels breaking or cracking. Can that happen to higher quality rims such as Enkei, AME, Advan, Work or even Volk? Yes sure it can, but the chances are they will stand up to a lot more than your typical Rota, TSW rim as there is a lot more R&D in not only the style, but process these rims are created. Very few can immitate even the process in which Enkei makes their rims.

I hope you can cancel the order, but that is just my opinion.

don't buy wheels for the sake of buying wheels, especially when they're a downgrade from the originals in looks and quality.

Cancel order asap and save some money for some good rims.

AMG looking wheels would look "different" on the 350. depends on who is looking. If looker is knows who is who and what is what, he/she would probably dislike it. But for some who just look, you can probably pull it off. Its what you think that matters.

Cancel. Like others have said, if you are going for the concave look go with some Rota Torque's.

Dont get me wrong. i love these, but i dont think you can call these tsw's knock offs. they have made that particular model way longer than volks been making there progressive spoke model.
as for my opinion on the tsw, i think it looks classy and most of all, that particular model is uncommon(good thing) on z's it gets tiring when your wheel that you just spent thousand of dollars on is on every 350z in town.
definately post some pics of it on your car if you decide to go with'em i'd like to see what they look like.

I think he was saying that there are too many who blindly follow one brand or another, whatever it is, without taking into to consideration what you just said - that no wheel is immune from bending/cracking, etc. From the most expensive, to the cheapest.

The fact of the matter is despite their price, TSW actually makes a very very strong wheel. Heavy? Sure. But they aren't intended to be motorsport level wheels. Are there other strong wheels? Absolutely. But you could certainly do ALOT worse than TSW

I didn't think TSW was that bad. Thanks Adam! And, are they really THAT much heavier than stock wheels? If we're talking about adding a measly 50 pounds to the car, I don't really mind. They're a nicely built, strong wheel, and I'm going to be adding power to the car anyway (Hopefully Adam will be doing that in the near future!) so the weight is not a huge issue. I canceled the order, and then reordered the same wheels. After seeing the picture of the black Z on the last page I've decided I do like them. By the way, the TSWs on the last page were CHROME. Chrome is very liable to peel or crack. Done deal, I went with the Bremmas. I'd really like for my car to look different from everyone else's.

its not just a matter overall weight being added to the car. think about it this way. lets say you are peddling a bicycle. add a backpack with 25 pounds of sand in it and haul it on your back. no big deal. now instead add 25 pounds to the rear wheels, trying to turn 25 pounds is gonna pretty damn tough.

buying TSW rims for your Z is like having a $10,000 watch with a $50 suite. Even though one of those things is very nice the lesser of the two ruins the overall imagine.
Get my drift?
