Default Caliper Painting Question

okay so i painted my calipers silver on my Lemans, but they arent really recognizable at all, doesnt even look like anything has been done. I was thinking of re-painting them, but the only other color i could think that would look good was the color of my car. Do you guys think that Lemans calipers on a Lemans would kick *** or suck?? Oooh if anyone could photoshop it that would be great. All opinions welcome please.

I THINK CALIPERS IN THE LEMANS COLOR WOULD LOOK GREAT. BUT HOW ARE GOING TO FIND HIGH HEAT PAINT IN THAT EXACT COLOR. I THINK YOU JUST HAVE TO CONTRAST THE COLOR WITH THE FINISH OF THE RIM. GOOD LUCK WITH THE PAINT. BY THE WAY, WHAT BRAND OF CALIPER PAINT DID YOU USE? FOLIA-TEC? G2?

Go with red.

I got Le Mans as well, and I painted it red, and it looks awesome!!! If you paint it with the Le mans color, it looks like a Brembo wannabe.

go to nissandriven.com then the 350z and in the gallery is a pic of a lemans with brembos. its at an angle so you cant see them that well, but good enough to see the color, which is very close to lemans. THey look good.

interesting...

i have a lemans 350z
i also just bought the silver calliper paint kit.

havent painted ne thing yet, but i was planning on doing it this weekend. you dont happen to have pic do you?

i didnt want to go overboard with a color that stood out too much, but your making sound like silver isnt the way to go. i have my engine pay painted silver and i have the silver grounding kit. i was going for the matching colors thing as if you havent noticed.

the only other color that would look good on the callipers is the lemans color, but thats the color of the brembo callipers. it might look like a "wanna be" kind of thing. either way i have no idea where i can get it painted that color. i'd like some info myself...

peace

MySunset350z:

silver will look fine. I just went about it all the wrong way. Im also looking for something to stand out more. I think i might do LeMans, I dont really care if it looks Brembo wannabe, I know that Im not shooting for that and thats all I care about. But yeah if you have the G2 kit or something, go for the silver. Youre probably also better at it than me anyways, it was my first time painting calipers and it couldve looked a lot better.
