Default Weight of Grand Touring forged rims?

Hey guys, I did some searching for weights on the Nismo 5-spoke, and the GT forged rims. I found the weight of the Nismos, but no luck on the GT rims. Does anybody know what each size weighs off the top of their head?

I'm primarily concerned with the 18s, since I'm considering purchasing a set if the price is right.

You do know that GT wheels are a staggered setup? 19" R/18" F. If you need 18s all around, you need a different set.

I am aware. But couldn't they fit on OEM sized rubber? If not, explain, so I don't make a mistake.

Well the rear 18s should have no problem wrapped around 245. But can they go around a 225 tire, being 9'' and all?

I just looked, and I think the rims will fit on a 225 tire, but will likely stick out a teeny bit about (.100 of an inch). So I think a 235/45/18 upgrade should suffice, since it's within spec of a 1% error. Yes? No?

the gt wheels are staggered. 225 on the front 9" wide front wheel will most likely be a stretch. "sticking out" probably wont be a concern since the stock gt front tire size is 245/40/18. even with 235 this shouldnt be a problem. if you have vdc you may need to consider getting the tires to be the right height. what do you mean by oem rubbers (oem gt is 245/40/18 f - 265/35/19 r). 225 is def not oem for gt.

I meant my OEM size - 225/45 and 245/45. I don't have VDC btw, TCS here. I want the 18s all around, since the 19 rears are 30lbs - and that would defeat the purpose of a lightweight rim, seeing as how my current 5-spokes weigh that much.

So 235/45/18 for the front, and 245/45/18 for the rears should be fine?

oh okay, just a misunderstanding. so you just want two front 18x9s and just stagger the tires? i guess in that case it might work. offsets probably wont work. might need spacers for the rear.

Yeah, a set of 4 GT 18s all around. What is the offset of my rear 18s now? I thought it was 33?
