Default Ok, about to buy these wheels.

Ok about to buy these wheels here is a link.
http://www.zeforged.com/tach.html

In that finish and I want 20" on my Z, but what off set should I get. I want the biggest lip in the back I can get and same goes for front. I wont be getting a BBK due to the fact that I wont take my car to the track. I will get the STG2 Stop tech street kit and I think that is more than enough. I am dropping the car with the GF210. So as this is my first non BMW car what offset am I looking at guys, thanks any help will do; also what blot pattern. These are custom made wheels they claim and they will make them how I want so I need the right info.

I know search it, I did but there is a billion configs, but after reading all of it I got more confused lol. So any of you Z experts chime in it be great. Again thanks for reading my run on here lol.

Also I thought about 10 or is 11 with in the back possible and a 9 with up front.

run at least a 9.5 in the front , especially with a wide rear wheel.

Offsets can vary depending on manufacturer. Ideally, you will want to test fit the set to see how they look before committing. Bolt pattern is 5x114.3 Many people are running +20 to +26 offsets, but as you can see it varies greatly depending on which wheels you are going with.

Varies on what your width is too. There are a lot of variables, do you want them to stick out (like the hella flush guys) do you want them flush , do you want them at the edge. What tire sizes do you plan to run. These are all factors.

Cool, thanks for the feed back. Well I want them to flush, and with just a GF210 drop what tire size I should use. I want to go with 11 with in the back if that is possible. What do you guys think.

Not sure on 20" wheel, but with the right offset you can fit a 9.5 front and
10.5 - 11.0 rear. tire sizing MUST be right in order to fit though, because GF210s are pretty low. fender rolling will be highly likely.

Ok, I understand that. But what spacing should I ask for for 20' with 9.5 and 11 withs. I want the flush look, so I guess I will take it to a body shop for the fender rolling which I don't mind.

I promise you with an 11" rear rim you will have the flush look, or more than flush, no matter what offset you go with.

Ok, so you think a 10.5 to be safe than huh. What off set should I look at than if I wanted the biggest lip. Remember it wont be a BBK car, I just street use it so I will just upgrade it to stg 2 street kit by stop tech.

I know of at least one guy on this forum that is now running an 11" rear with a 305 I will dig up his name later

I'm sure you can run an 11" rim without it sticking out but a lot has to do with the offsets and size tires.

As a guide for you. I have 19x10.5" rears with 305/30/19's. the offset is 35mm. I had to tweak the fender lips a very very tiny bit. The inner sidewall grazes the shock boot but I mean just barely, almost no even worth mentioning. It starts to graze it, then over larger bumps, grazes it a tad more, then when the suspension compresses even more, it pulls away from the boot, probably because of the toe in changing more, as it compresses

I am running more negative camber that what I want. It corners awesome but they don't hook up for **** from a stop. If I put the camber where it should be with a 305, I estimate that the top of the wheel will be pushed out 1/2" closer to the lip and in turn the bottom would be kicked in 1/2". These were just rough measurements/estimates.

Right now they stick out as far as I would like and I don't want to mess with the fender lips anymore, so in the future I will step down to a 295, so I can dial out the excess camber.

Man thanks for getting back to me about my wheels. Ok now to just cut down to the chase after reading all of your writing over there I am more confused. I am sure it has to do with the fact I just finished a 18hr shift at the pharmacy lol, what exactly should I order tires and wheels sizes I want 20s and the biggest lip with what offset. This site that I have linked says I can chose exactly how I want my wheels take a look at it.

http://www.zeforged.com/tach.html

That is the wheel to the actual color and wheel type that I want. Its a street car and I just want it too look HOT. lol the Z already does but you know what I mean, hey any help is great so thanks for everything so far. As for the drop it will be GF210, your msg box is full I tried but you need to clean it up.

I'm having a hard time figuring out that chart on their site. I work 7 days a week 72 hours a week, so I know how you feel, this is why I'm trippin'

Do you know what the available offsets are for the 10.5's and the 11's?

Lets see if this pic of my setup comes through. Unfortuantly it's not taken directly from behind.

Did you ever figure out an answer yet?

If you're going with the 10.5" Most people run between a 28-35 offset. If you can get them in 30 offset, I think that would be about perfect. Although I personally like the way my 35 looks. You could probably run a 295 tire or you could stretch a 275 or 285 to a much lesser extent with the 30 on about 1.5" drop. IMO a 285 is kind of a bastard sized tire because you could almost go with 2 different profiles. One will look beefy and one will look really thin (especially on a 20" wheel).

My offset is 35 and I should be able to run a 295 with only the original very minor tweaking I did to fit the 305. But since I have too much negative camber, that's why I'm switching to the 295, so I can adjust the camber and still have the same fender clearance I have now.

There are some guys here that have 9.5" wheels that have huge lips that look like a 10.5" rim. If you're really worried about clearance, maybe look at a different wheel and size and just run the tried and true 245 and 275 setup?
