NOO!! Rays states that they only make the "Volk" line for higher end 350z's. You should do some research.

I tried putting Volks on my base, and they wouldn't fit.
The VDC and TCS would shut-off the engine...wheels too heavy.

what VDC and TCS.

it's more like that bolt on the rotors of the base model that prevents aftermarket rims from being installed.

I'm glad i got the performance model and didn't have to worry about that bolt.

i'm saying it's not possible. I have never in my life heard of ANYONE on my350z who's ever put volks on a base model Z. never. not a single one. you can quote me on that.

Noodleman is right, I have a base model Z, and as a new owner had never heard that the Volk line of wheels simply will not fit on the base Z. Well, $3K later, and some cursing, and all I managed to do was scratch the back of the TE-37's trying to push the sucker on. Live and learn I guess. Anyone want a set of Volks for $500? Mounting scratches included?

Oh shiet, you mean base doesn't come with VDC and TCS???
All this time I was pushing the car, relying on my subpar driving skills!
I could have died!!!

On a serious note to the OP:
If anything, you should be upgrading to quality tires on the base pronto.
Stock tires, no Traction control or VDC makes a spirited or wet drive kind of sketchy.

What brand rim you decide to wrap those tires up with, is solely your preference.

you mean that bolt on the rotors? hmm, never heard of that. I know i have bolts on my performance but that's because you won't mess up putting staggered wheels on.

Just remember, the only Volks that will fit on a Base must be 8.5/9.5 widths with +45 offset all around.
