Need some tire suggestions.
I recently picked up a set of VS-KFs 18x10/11 +9.
I know I'll need a shorter tire and pretty low to pull 18s off. Not trying to go to crazy with stretch as the car is drifted. Don't want to be popping beads and **** all the time. Was thinking 235/40 265/35 thoughts?

235/40 and 255/40 would probably work well. Spacers are also needed to achieve the look you want

lol those are bigger tire sizes than i run on my 10.5 and 11.5... but if he is worried about going too small i guess they would work. You're gonna have to be mighty low to pull off 18's. God speed

For 18's on a Z I personally think larger tires like 245\40F 265\35R would look much better. Hell even 255\40 265\40R would make it look and drive much better. But yeah not really aggressive and or stretched then. Would be slightly stretched and aggressive.

I have the fronts on now with 245/40s. They seem way to tall granted the car needs to come down a bit. The guy I bought them from had 225/40 255/35s on his car and it looked great. But like I said I'm worried about tires doing stupid stuff at that point.

The car they came off of:

Me? Not low enough.

I ended up with the 235/40 265/35. Should sit pretty good once a bit lower and maybe a small spacer up front.

I was going to post my tire sizes, but it seems like we've moved on so I'll just ***** this here. These are all 18's btw. I had 19's, but I never put them on.

I thought I share regardless, but indeed. I would be nervous running really stretched, just thinking about curbs rashes

I'll be getting Federal RS-RR in 35 series, but nothing I can do about being +3 too much on offset.

There is also a aggressive wheels and fat tires thread that would be a better fit for what you're posting. To give you an idea, my wheels are 10.5 front, 12.5 rear in the negative double digit offsets
