okay well i test fitted my wheels with a jack on rear tire (stance are on backorder)
fenders aren't rolled yet.. i'm thinking maybe i should have went with a 245 in the rear. it seems like the lip of my wheel would touch my fender which is not what i wanted.. i want the fender to touch the middle of the sidewall (by touch i mean theoretically, if i were to lower it all the way).
should i just try and squeeze some positive camber in there to fill the gap? blaah any insight would be much appreciated.. i did so many measurements before installing everything and i guess i was off

^^ Okay to clear some things up,, When you slam a car you want the highest spring rate Possible,, for the Z the best spring rate would be 14k/12k, so with that said the higher spring rate is a good thing.
Also you are talking about the helper collars, allot of people remove these with no problem, also the spring does not just hang there it is compressed up against the top of the strut.
My Stance Coilovers are setup just like this,, Thanks for your concern and I will let you know how it goes..

Yeah I see your point Jonny,, we went for a test ride and raised the car up to see how things looked. Everything looked normal and the ride felt good. This is a temp fix until he gets his new coilovers so he wont be riding on them that long...

i dont think johnny is coming, but my good drifting buddy kim might come in his daily (which happens to be my old Z minus the baller T1's, lol)

Do you have more pictures of the rear fender to see how much was pulled? I'm doin some research to see how much I should pull my fenders this weekend.

Ill ask him if he can take a pic of the rear fender
but really if i were you, just use the handle of a bat or the lever bar from a jack
then heat up the rear fender with a heat gun a little and drive it back n forth to work out the fender to where you need it
thats how i did it on my old s14, my z fenders are only rolled and havent been pulled yet, but will be when i get the spacers for the vskfs

Okay everyone keeps asking me what I did. Well I pretty much got rid of the bucket spring and placed the spring on the coilover. This is the same method that the Stance True Coilover is done.. Here is a quick pic on how it looks before adjusting the collar...
We went for a test ride and it road like normal,, I will let you know how it goes over the week..

can any body shop pull fenders? or does it have to be a specialty body shop that does custom work? I need my fenders pulled, but not anything drastic..just need a couple more mm so the lips on my rear wheels stop rubbing the fender.

Ya, I feel ya. Those tickets went ****ing fast like 3 months in advance. Royal had to pull some strings just to get the rest of us in.
