Aggressive Wheels and Stretched Tires....Welcome
I'm wondering if you guys put your coilovers at full stiff doesn't that put a lot of pressure on the tires ?
What I'm trying to get at is, since the suspension isn't taking the shockwave of bumps and dips then I imagine the tires end up absorbing most of the hits, and that doesn't sound too good to me since they are low profile after all.
Or am I thinking about it all wrong here ?
another thing I was worried about I actually have an idea for, since a lot of camber and stretched tire exposes the inside lip I was gonna put a nice far layer of silicone sealant right in between the open space where the tire stretches away from the lip, and cover the lip as well with it.... in that case if the lip ever does come in contact with the road, it won't scratch or scuff the actual lip. I'm talking about doing this just for the inside lip that isn't visible when the wheels are on the car.

i don't think the sealant will even hold if it comes in contact with the road. Plus, sealant will throw off the balance of the wheels depending on how much you use but seems more than .50 of an once to even protect the lip which vibrations will be felt.
hahahahaha,, I don't think any one on here is running that amount of camber for your rear lip to touch the ground.. You would have to be well over -10 camber... so don't even worry about it..
And to answer you question about the Coilovers, no it does not . Your suspension has damping for a reason, don't worry about it..
