maybe a hammer and dolly along with cutting the inside wheel wells will give you a "non-curled" look, but there is only a certain point you can pull it without flaring the panel. People always wanting to push the limits which is a good thing(most of the times), but some people need to understand that wheel gap has to be at a minimum(less than half an inch of tire showing haha) in order to pull the "look" off. But as long as the wheels are flush/poking in accordance to the pull, then the flare on the panel won't stand out too much.

True, and yes they have to curl out if you want to push the limits, At least thats what i think. There will never be a perfect fender after it has been touched from its original stage, but we all know that. The z has curves hard to match, fender meeting with the front bumper as well as rear bumper. It is a lot of work to make them smooth and clean looking..

Thanks bro!... and you are more than welcome to get it done right, if you need closer pics i got couple that could help you see what the car looked like before and after... i think i got most of them in "My Angry Frog" thread...

Thank you Dranom!.. I agree with you but I think you could pull the fenders without messing them up to a certain extent. If you go pass the limit like i did, you will need to touch them up for sure..

Awaits the hate...

just look above a few posts, look at how clean the fender pull on that white G35 is ? by far the cleanest i've actually seen, only litoflows pull is nicer

I might go with 245/40 but I think that would be to crazy for a daily. But we'll see lol

um respraying a car and pulling fender for metal work and major body pull and then respraying is a lil much for a daily driver honestly...

id rather use that money and buy a daily beater or something rather spend 3-4k on wheels that i need to have my car in a shop for weeks to fit them.

no one really knows the difference anyway unless they know wheels size/offset

but...its baller lol

his car is nice NO DOUBT
but i was kinda wondering all this body work like you mention is so he can run these wheels , as i think i remember him being the first to have these vs ms wheels back in mid 2010 , and on the way to a show he messed up his fenders, hence this body work and re-spray

so if he is spending all this money on body work and paint to run these wheels without issue , than why not remove the wheels before spraying as not to get over spray on the wheels

it would be a shame to get overspray on the wheels , that he has spent so much money on fixing the car to be able to run the wheels

you gotta understand, that ****er has more money than he could spend. He could care less (for the most part) lol. He's already shopping for new wheels to replace those as we speak. Theres a motor being built + Greddy TT kit right now as well for it.

idk exactly what went on but i know they needed the wheels to get the exact pull needed for clearance

you don't need to take off nice wheels for repaint. any decent shop before they prep for paint will plastic wrap the wheels, etc. i had my te37s on for my black paint job on the Z and no over spray. that should never be a worry if you are at a good shop.

You'll need the wheels on to get the fenders pulled just right, then any shop with a shread of common sense would either pull the wheels off or wrap them before paint. It's not like the shop want's to trash this guys wheels and pay to have them refinished/replaced.

BTW, that G is sitting right, can't wait to see finished pictures after the paint.
