you don't need to take off nice wheels for repaint. any decent shop before they prep for paint will plastic wrap the wheels, etc. i had my te37s on for my black paint job on the Z and no over spray. that should never be a worry if you are at a good shop.
i understand wrapping the wheels
the over spray seems to pentrate around the wheels and come thru the back on the barrel side and work its way thru the back side of the disk and onto the face of the disc and lip
yeah i know haha... but I'm trying to get new barrels to re-barrel my 18x10 with lower offsets and this dude @ Work USA keeps giving me new supposedly "good offsets" about 3x now... at first he offered me -4 or -17, after that he said it was actually -1 or -14. I'm like great I'll go with -14 and ask him to send invoice and proceed with the order. He came back saying sorry he's been looking at the wrong spec sheet and the good specs are either -8 (95mm lip) or -20 (108mm lip). So atm I'm like wtf is this crap? and the lip width numbers he gave me seem pretty low even for R-disk.
that's why I'm looking for that PDF file with specs lol
car is nice...wheels belong in the aggressive and FLAT tires thread though...what part of FL are u from?
Those were a reference to where the wheels sat prior to being customized. I am very aware. I do appreciate the courtesy though. Central Florida Tampa area.
