Does anyone know the best/cheapest place to get tires?
I keep having to replace my rear tires because the inner side of them keeps wearing out to the metal. They are 275/35/19 Toyo Proxes T1R...not cheap i know that. I know someone is going to make fun of me for not getting some suspension add on which prevents the tire from wearing out on the inner side, which i have no idea what to get and where... camber kit? im a suspension/tire noob.
Anyway, my question is, instead of going to my local tire shop and caughing up $300 for a new T1R, is there a better/cheaper way out? I was looking for used ones on craigslist and ebay but cant find that exact model/size. Would it matter if i got a different brand but same size? Or would it be ok if i got 2 replacements for the rear, the same size, but different brand? I saw 2 bridgestone potenza's, used, exact size that i need, for $150 with 60% thread left...
any tips would be appreciated

we have the Toyo's in stock..would be at your door by Friday
and with all that stuff invested into your car, please don't deal with used tires, mismatched tires and no rear camber/toe kit. Anything worth doing to your car, is worth doing right. Keep the Z strong, don't go cheap on areas where it counts most

Either way, if you can PM me with a price of one of those Toyos that would be great. I could see what i have to work with. Thanks

You can get away with extreme camber, but if you're lowered with incorrected toe, it's going to scrub the tire like you're going sideways all the time.
I was able to ride lowered and SPC corrected on my 275/35/19 Toyo T1R's (with some camber) for almost 20,000 miles with no irregular wear. Decided to lower it some more and not get it corrected ( I was lazy). Low and behold, the metal belt started showing within a thousand miles.
So stop wasting your money on tires man, spend a couple hundred bucks and get yourself a camber kit....at least for the rear. (most expensive tires)
