lip help, not chapstik
well, the car was in an accident a few years back and the rear wheel had to be repaired, but they didn't re-polish it? and I haven't taken it back to them in like 3 years, and I just now want to get them polished but forgot where i got them repaired at and now im stuck. Does anyone know where in GA I could get them polished at?
OR I work at a body shop (paint) and I was wondering if there was a way for ME to polish it.
OH and all my lips on my wheels are very dull and brown, lol. They were very shiny when I got them, you think never-dull by eagle one will take care of them, i don't want to waste hour trying to re-polish them and find out i have to get them re-polished bc of my negligents.

What wheels do you own?
Some wheels have a clearcoat on their lips. Rays anodizes their barrels. So when the wheel lips/barrels are repaired, often shops just repolish the anodized layer or the clearcoat out. With the raw aluminum, it'll oxidize with a dull color. I say repolish them and add a wheel sealer as it'll help reduce the oxidation. Or, you can always clearcoat them to preserve the shine and also to protect the lips as well.
My wheels, Volk Racing GTC, have been destroyed by a local car wash (I know... shame on me) and have been repolished. However, they oxidize quite easily. I am looking at painting the lips gloss black. Kind of sick of the polished lip deal nowadays.
