Default does the "low tire pressure" light comes on when I took of TPS?

i took off the stock 06 wheels and put the snow wheels and tires(after market). and while I was driving today, the light came off. It did not come on right after I changed the wheels but after I ran like 20 miles.

Is it normally come on when we took off the TPS? or do i need to check up the tire pressure?

It's normal if you took out the TPS and either never put it back on or if your new set of rims/tires is unable to accept it. Took my stock 07 rims/tires out and put on new Volk's and Neo Gen's and have had the low tire pressure on ever since....of course if I kept it stock I would have been able to know about the damn flat I had going on in my rear tire this week lol Took it to a gas station and was under 10 PSI! Eventually got the nail out.

it's normal to have the light come on after changing wheels if the new wheels don't have the tps monitors. Gotta admit I miss that luxury of getting an idea of how low the tire pressure was without checking it manually!

If you no longer have TPMS, the light will usually come on after 30 miles of driving.

Did you put TPMS sending units in the wheels?
