Rolled fenders? New suspensions?
You won't need to roll your fenders or run crazy camber if you don't go with a crazy tire size. I would say 285/35 max if you're just on springs and want to play it safe. You might be able to fit a 295 depending on the specific drop, tire and sidewall profile. Once you get into the 295/35 or bigger range I think you would start to need to consider a roll and/or more negative camber.

If your plan is to go coilovers and drop her more than your average spring, then rolls and camber will start to need to be considered depending on the tire size.

As for looks, if you go with the 9.5/10.5 +15, you will definitely need a drop if you want to "fit in" with all the scrutinizing scallywags on the site (and not sport the 4x4 look as stated).

Summary: For the 9.5/10.5 +15 you won't have to do anything but a drop to make it look good if you run safe tire sizes.

Will this combo require any fender rolling and/or camber adjustments? Stock suspension, but plan to go aftermarket coilovers later.......thanks for the help!

I think these would look sick if they were painted black.

Look good regardless, what are the specs?

Pizzato16, thanks again.
I researched the price of that coilover and I think I'll pass
I think I'll go with more conventional tires, because I can't afford the full setup with coilover & rolling fenders, etc.

What actually cause the wheel/tire setup to look like 4x4? Is it because of the lower profile tires (40 instead of 45)?

guitman32, thanks for reminding me about roll & camber settings.
For sure, I won't be going for crazy tires since I'm only using the car to commute to work. Maybe if the Fed declares no speed limit on US-101, I'll reconsider.

Back to do some more research...

Indeed my friend. The smaller profile tire makes a larger gap between the fender and tire giving the 4x4 look. if coilovers are too expensive you can still do springs for about 300 i think (dont quote me on it). But its all up to you man.

Bump. Hey Phenom, how much do those weigh, they look pretty sweet.

Question, what do you guys with SBC use to clean and polish them?

Wash using a wash mitt and carwash solution/water. I use the hose as I am washing to provide a constant stream of water to evacuate particles that might otherwise scratch the clearcoat.

I wax with Zaino Z-2, but read that using a proper wheel sealant might be more effective.
