Painted or Powder Coated Stock 18" Tourings
I have a set of these sitting in my garage still and was wondering how the paint or powder coating holds up to the elements. Is one method better then the other???
Also it seems to have been done fairly frequently in the past painting rims but the pictures are no longer showing in the older threads. I tried a fairly exhausting search but came up with few examples remaining.
Does anyone have any pics of the stock 03 18 inch Tourings (wagon wheel look) painted or powder coated in black. Flat or Gloss. Would love to see how they look on a Silverstone....
THANX!!!!!!!

Powder-coating ANYTHING will be permanent and 1000x better than paint. It is literally baked on at high temps thus it won't rust, crack, peel, chip etc.
I would recommend getting them bead blasted, and powdercoated if you want to go that route
