For slammed you are better off with a tire that can be flipped for longer life.

Sorry to bump an old thread but I'm looking to change from Falken FK452s to something that supports being slammed better. I'm having the usual feathering and tire roar issues that are so common with the FK452s. I didn't know they were prone to feathering when I bought them.
Would you guys still say that the Nitto Invo is the best tire for being slammed? I have camber kits and everything and my alignment is fine which leads to me to believe it's the tires considering their history. Not to mention that they're discontinued now.

INVO
I had Invo's and was happy with the look, sidewall and performance, however once I really upped the power with the turbo, they didn't grip very well. I was happy with the sidewall stiffness, however, which made the steering really responsive. However, the treadwear on those tires was pretty terrible. I got maybe 15K out of them. When it came time for new tires, I went with Pilot Super Sports and they perform much better, but they run wide so I had to go down a size. Also I agree, if your main concern is longevity, get a tire that can flip so you can run both sides. I think the Hankook V12's do that. I had them for a day and returned them because the side wall was too soft for my taste.

Ya I read on importuner.com that they made the Neogen specifically for lowered cars with non-ideal alignments. I might look into them. In retrospect, I'm still getting decent tire life out of my tires, it's the feathering in the front and the tire roar that annoys me. Guess I shouldn't have slammed my car! Thanks again for the productive response though.
P.S. FYI, when I say slammed I don't mean Cali-slammed, I mean normal slammed. As in tucking a bit of tire and no rubbing on proper sized wheels and tires.
