Default Motegi Tack Togue Gunmetal 18x9 F 19x10 R

I work at a tire shop so I had to set the example for my customers!

Something new, something I haven't seen before.

Well here goes.

Motegi Togue Gunmetal! (Inspired by AEM Drift Car)

Front:
18x9 +25 with 245/40YR18 Michelin Pilot Sport PS2

Rear:
19x10 +30 with 265/35(Y)R19 Michelin Pilot Sport PS2

Looks AWESOME! Offsets are just right. My challenge to you is to show me someone who's already done it! Don't try repeating, as Gunmetal is discontinued and only chrome and black are available now. Sorry

Pike's Peak White btw.

Who wants pics?

The 17s look to have a completely different lip.
18s and 19s aren't beveled.
That guy also removed the stickers.

No suspension modifications (Don't plan on it as work's parking lot entrance already scrapes the underside from time to time.)

ABS and TCS work fine.

The wheel and tire sizes are exact to an '07 NISMO and Grand Touring.
They deviate from the 2% difference in tire OD from the factory 03 Enthusiast (Almost 3% difference) The deviation in tire OD is actually not as large as the 225/50VR17 front and 225/55VR17 rear winter tires that I bought from Tire Rack. (Recommended by Tire Rack for the vehicle).

The sidewall height is a hair shorter in the rear than in the front. But the 1" increase in wheel diameter in the rear puts them right where they should be. It's a good look for anyone who want 19s but isn't sure they want to spend just that much. I did it because I never see it.

tinypic and photobucket holmes. Welcome to teh internetz.

Offsets sound like poo-poo but you say they look perfect...I think the Touges are ugly wheels (my opinion), but I'm interested in seeing pictures if only to see what those offsets look like.

What tire store do you work at.

I would have put some meat on it 285/35 fits the rear , and 275/35 would fit the front, the stagger would also keep VDC/TCS very happy.

Perfect is a matter of opinion. I'm very pleased with the results. +30 is high compared to the +22 we usually see out of the Volks. But from the +33 of the factory 8.0" wheels it is an improvement.

I work at National Tire & Battery in Ellisville. You'll see my car outside all the time.

lol, I can understand his viewpoint. The pictures are shitty, and he might be used to Volk quality. Some of us like staggered lips and big wheels but can't afford Volk/Rays/Enkei/Work.

I'd love to have some Volks but I'm satisfied with my choice. But my company gives a killer discount on wheels that we can actually get direct fromt the manufacturer.

I've already put the stock 17s and winter tires back on until the season finishes. I'll get some good pictures this May/June.

Oh btw, these wheels are virtually identical to the American Racing Rebel.
Motegi is an AR brand. So go on, stick your nose up in the air
