Wheel help
I did a search for this, but didn't quite get what i wanted. I bought some rims from a friend of mine (Volk GT-Cs: 18x8 in the front, 18x10 in the back) who also helped with the install. When we were doing the front, the passenger side had "something" sticking out of the rotor that threw off the alignment of the rim to the lugs. My friend was saying that the "something" is used to help loosen the rotor, in case it gets stuck. Is there anything i can get to mount the rims on the rotors without tampering with that "something?" Maybe those with aftermarket rims could be of some assistance?
While we're on the subject, maybe a good size spacer for the back?
Thanks!

take it off and rock the wheel.
that is what everyone is doing..
it is used to help determine stock front and rear wheels.
that is all it does.
however because it is threaded, if your rotors were ever to get stuck you could use a bolt and use that hole to push it out
but don't worry just take it out..
BTW
next time Search otherwise you may get flamed
