I am thinking about changing tires on my stock rims to a wider tires.

245-40-18 in the front & 275-40-18 in the rear.

Would these fit? Does any one have them on?


Also, What is the offset on the Stock rims?

Stock offset is +30mm. Those tires should fit fine. However, I would think twice about putting 275s on a rim that is 8 inches in width. Ideal rim width would be 9.5.

Yep, most rim shops wont even install them since its a liability for them. That size tire is designed to fit a 9-11.5" wheel (you are correct, 9.5" is optimal).

 

Would 18 by 8.5 fit nicely on the stock tires for the Touring.
