FIVE AXIS DESIGN ANNOUNCES NEW PRODUCT LINE UP
Unique Collection of Wheels to be Manufactured by Wheel Supply Systems Inc.

For Immediate Release
Las Vegas, NV. (October 31, 2007) – Wheel Supply Systems Inc., has announced a new wheel line up with renowned automotive design house, Five Axis Models and their new consumer products division, Five Axis Design. The collection will be designated as FIVE: AD and will launch at the 2007 SEMA show, debuting on all of the Five Axis vehicles.

The FIVE:AD wheel line-up will launch with five styles with fitments for front and rear wheel drive vehicles. The collection includes single and multi-piece cast and forged aluminum alloy wheels.

"I'm flattered that people like our work and excited to have this opportunity to get our design philosophy out there in the mass market," said Troy Sumitomo, president of Five Axis Models and Five Axis Design. "The FIVE:AD wheel line up made perfect sense as far as being a great canvas for my team's creativity," he continued. "Wheels are often neglected in the overall scheme of automotive design and yet they're often the first thing you notice. We've set out to offer a line up that will truly enhance a car's overall appearance."

"It is an honor to work with Five Axis Design," stated Mark Thornburg, president of Wheel Supply Systems Inc. "I have long been a fan of their work. I appreciate the attention to detail and perfection they put into everything they do. The FIVE: AD wheel line will benefit from the same talents and passion that Five Axis direct into their concept vehicles. We're happy to welcome Troy and his team into our family."

The Five Axis vehicles debuting at SEMA include the Wide body Lexus IS-F with Satin Bronze 19" S5:F wheels, located in the Lexus booth; the Toyota Yaris Club with Silver 17" S6:F wheels featured in the Toyota booth and the Scion Widebody xD featuring Gun Metal 20" two-piece forged R6:F_SPEC wheels.

Through the collaboration between Five Axis and WSS, the FIVE:AD brand now makes it possible for enthusiasts who have fallen in love with Five Axis' work to own a piece of the cutting-edge design firm with components including wheels, suspension, aerodynamic kits, and interior upgrades.

I know Troy personally and I think that his modern and conceptual design is a work of art. With today's fierce competitive market, I think that the general consumer's are ready for something new, different, creative and modern. These wheels are not only for Scion vehicles, the fitments are offered in a wide array of sizes and offsets. Anyone who is bold enough to try something new, this is your avenue.

At the end of the day, I am a car guy, not just a NISSAN guy. I love and appreciate all cars and especially for those with the artistic vision to develop something so appealing. Troy has always amazed the industry when it came to creative development and his new wheel line isn't any different from the concept cars he has built.

The SF:5s on the lexus IS-F are okay, but other than that, I'd probably pass. The wheels on the green scion look alright though.

The wheels on the Toyota Hybrid look good when they're moving, but not sure about the still shots. You need a really aggressive car to pull off those wheels. Oh and that's everything the GTR should have been.

they make great "concepts" and are a talented bunch but seeing them made in real life, it's all pretty gross.

I saw all the entire line of Five Axis wheels at a local show a couple weeks ago. Definitely not impressed. Definitely designed for the Civic/Scion type crowd.
