The inner part of my rear wheels are wearing out faster than the rest. Had an alignment done 2k miles ago, but I'm not sure if this wearing may have occured before the alignment was done. Anyways, I was going to swap the tires between the rear wheels to balance out the wearing. Will I need to rebalance the wheels after doing this?
You certainly should have the new wheel/tire combo balanced. Tire molds are not perfect, so if the tire has a little bit too much / too little rubber in one spot, that will need to be counter-balanced to prevent vibration at high speeds.
