Axis rims Vs Volk
Just curious as to why the Volk rims are more expensive than the Axis??? is it a quality issue or are they just a less expensive rim????

quality.
Volk: forged barrel cast spokes on their 2 piece wheels. forged = strong.
Axis: Cast all around . knock offs. Clean looking tho, i used to have a set of hiros.

this explains why Rays/Volk demand much higher prices, they invest insane amounts of money in R&D, materials and quality control

Axis had a bad batch on them and I ran the hiros with no cracking issues. I did however run over something that resembled an alternator on the express way and it broke a huge chunk off the wheel. I honestly think based on the damage I had no wheel would have survived what I ran over. Volks are obviously made better than Axis but it's more based on taste and budget.

Volk wheels are drooped from 10,000 feet. If they survive without a dent, they are boxed and sold. True story.

I had a set of Axis Mod wheels on another car, right when they came out years ago. I actually did break one. All 7 spokes separated from the barrel. Won't ever roll crap wheels again.
