just leave them. Painting stock 17s is a bit tacky IMO.

17's with 30mm spacers, a slammed body, painted time attack style looks great... but not on DB. lol. leave em. save the money and buy some decent aftermarket.

+1 the stockers look lame. Save up some money and get some nice wheels and your car will look amazing.

I too am looking to paint my stockers until I wear out the new tires i have and get new wheels. You should be able to get them powder coated for roughly $300...or you could save that money for the later purchase. there is already a thread about this with a DB w/ gold rims powder coated:

After seeing these, I'll be painting the stockers on my Daytona Blue gold. Might also go with a blue lip.

There's nothing wrong with painting or powdercoating your stock rims. You can have them done for ~$200. This is a worthwhile mod if tastefully done. Although I like the stock rims, I do not like their "bare" look.

Here is a picture of my 17" powdercoated (black) stock rims:

Here is a picture of my 18" painted (gunmetal) track rims:

My '06 rims are painted gunmetal also and they look even sharper than most aftermarket rims.

Just leave the wheels alone. The track wheels look ok painted, but other than that, stock wheels should remain just that, stock. (IMO)
