Default Got my Rota P45's, test fit & photochopping to compare

Well I got my Rota P45F's and P45R's today from Wheeldude.com, they look beautiful! My tires don't show up until Thursday likely ... I'm putting on some cheap Sumitomo's to start off, 245/40ZR18's in the front and 275/40ZR/18's in the rear. Regardless of not having tires yet, I decided to test fit the wheels to make sure they would work, and I think so!

Anyway I had a little basic fun with photoshop, what do you think? Note that I didn't compensate for the offset differences between the wheels, so the new Rota's will stick out further, but you can see that in a few other raw pics.

Photo-chopped comparrison, I did NOT compensate for differences in offsets. This is just to get an idea of the general look.

Here's the Rota's test fitted:

Here's my old TSW's offsets:

Can't wait!!! I will likely be going autocrossing Saturday if the weather is okay and it doesn't get cancelled so we'll see how they handle with the tires I got. Should be good fun!

Comments welcome!

EDIT: Got the tires and they are now mounted and on my car...

It's gonna look much better. I really like those wheels even though they are rotas. What are the offsets on the new wheels and the old?

Old wheel offsets I think are around 43-44 mm., the new Rota's are 25 mm. front and 30 mm. in the rear. You can tell in the pics its a pretty big difference.

Nice!!! Do you have to buy the center caps separately? I'm thinking of buying a set of P45 myself.

The wheels look awesome Mike! I can't wait to see them actually on the car with your new tires, it will be a huge improvement

scmtkings4 - They are Royal Steel Grey. We haven't had the rears in stock for a few months in this color but we still have the fronts. I just ordered more 18x9.5 P45R's in this color though so in a month we will have the staggered setups available.

The Rotas looks good, but I think the TWS's multi-spoke suits the Roadster more, I would've just gotten some spacers for them. But anyways, good choice on the new wheels and offset.

I'd still get some spacers if I were you. Nice choice though.
