Default Ground Control coil overs

I've got a set of 500lbs (f) and 300lbs (r) Ground Control coil overs on Koni shocks on my '98 Talon TSi. Does anyone know if i could re-use them on a 350z? The weight of the talon is about 3200lbs which is close to the 350 i believe. I guess i need to know about the compatibility of the koni shocks which would be the determining factor?

Anyone?

Thanks.

Question, is will they fit in the first place? I wouldn't do it. It wasn't made for the Z, don't put it on.

I think the answer is no because the coilover kits I think you are referring to are made to sit on the top of struts. They will also have a custom mounting plate that will not likely fit the Z's shock mount holes.

When i installed them three years ago i believe the threaded collar just sit on a lip around the Koni shock. Your right though, the top of the spring fit inside the top spring thingie (upper mount on car). However there were no custom mounting plates, the shock just fit right in. I guess i'm hoping the shocks are the right length and will fit in, 'cause if they are, and the wind (diameter) of the spring is right, presto-bozo, i potentially have a set of coil overs.

Now if only i could work in my turbo somehow....
