Default How much to mount and balance tires on 19 rims?

I just received my tires (see sig.) and contacted my tire place for a price to mount and balance these tires on my 19" iForged's and they told me it would cost around $300.

That sounds high to me but I've never had to mount and balance tires of this size before.

What do you guys think is a fair price?

Thanks.

pay more than $20 per wheel/tire and you're getting jacked, bent over, and slapped cherry red.

I figured that. The guy I've spoken to in the past that seemed like a reasonable guy wasn't in so I spoke to some other guy there. I'll try him tomorrow and see what he quotes me.

I paid $5 bucks a rim to get it done at some place that normally does like 23"s on SUV's and such.

WOW!

This place does the same. They have on display a 26" rim mounted on a tire. I hope that guy I was talking today didn't know what he was talking about. I'll find out tomorrow for sure.

Thanks for your input.

I paid 80$ for them to dismount the old tires, remove TPM. then dismount the new tires, install the sensors, and remount them, and balance them. then back on the car. also got a set of locks, cheapy 2$ each, but better than nothing.

all for 80$.

then asked them to align the wheels, which they said they wouldnt/couldnt because they were afraid their machine would damage the large rims. I found that respectable that they wouldnt do it, where most would say to hell with it more money for us.
